Rick Clark is senior vice president of Cloud Infrastructure at Mastercard. His organization is responsible for the architecture and implementation of Platform as a Service and Infrastructure as a Service. They secure global deployment and operation of Mastercard products and services. While at the same time, providing the agility needed to respond rapidly to changing global regulations.
Mr. Clark has more than 20 years of technology and leadership experience in Cloud, Open Source, and Linux. He is a frequent advisor to industry analysts on the future of cloud computing and data center automation. Mr. Clark led development of Ubuntu Server, oversaw engineering for the Rackspace Cloud, where he co-founded and led Openstack. Recently, he worked in the CTO’s office at Cisco Systems, and built the IaaS platform for Reliance Jio, the world’s largest greenfield telco project.
