Principal Engineer, Cloud and Emerging Technology Security, Wells Fargo
Matthew Saner is the Principal Engineer for Cloud and Emerging Technology Security at Wells Fargo. In this position, he is responsible for leading and delivering security solutions, products, frameworks, policies and controls for public and private cloud, and other emerging platforms. His focus is to reduce security risk through policy, process, and technical solutions with the primary objective of keeping the customer safe. His current area of research includes deep analysis on the security benefits and risks of containers along with other emerging cloud-native solutions. With a focus on how large enterprises can overcome these evolving security challenges in a regulated environment. Prior to Wells Fargo, Matthew held various enterprise technology positions at Bank of America. Matthew received a B.S. in Telecommunications and Networking Technology from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and currently holds his CISSP, CCSK, GCCC, and other security-centric certifications.
